Eurailtest’s 2016 Editorial

As 2016 draws to a close, we have chosen in this newsletter to give pride of place to people and their cooperation.

People, because they are so vital to the quality of service and support we can afford you and your projects, and cooperation, because it is an essential factor in sharing the know-how available in the individual Eurailtest EIG laboratories and in developing their synergies. One of our articles will, therefore, introduce you to the three new account managers who have joined our sales team, while, for our laboratories and their staff, our second open day on 16 November was the chance for their newest recruits to discover the activities of the main Eurailtest partner laboratories. We are also very proud of the joint efforts of the Railway Test Agency (AEF) and the Test and Measurement Laboratory (LEM) in ensuring that their complementary skills can be put to use during dynamic type approval tests on works vehicles.

As a result of these developments, we are now better placed to plan ahead for the future, including the many projects in the pipeline for 2017, one of which concerns the measurements on TRAXX locomotives for Bombardier Transport (Germany) you will be able to discover in this newsletter.

I would like to take this opportunity of extending my very best wishes to you all for a happy, healthy and successful New Year.
