Bombardier Acceptance and Delivery Runs Performed by Eurailtest

Since 2009 Eurailtest has been conducting rolling stock acceptance and delivery runs for its client Bombardier, carrying out trials on series-built trainsets to establish compliance with the standard train.

The process comprises two phases, the first consisting of dynamic tests into train braking and safety equipment (EQS) performance, followed by vehicle exterior inspections and coach and driver’s cab comfort checks (noise, vibrations, etc.). At the end of these tests, a Quality follow-up report is produced and published to confirm final acceptance of the rolling stock. The trainset is then taken to its place of delivery ready to enter operation.

Nearly 50 Regio2N and NAT trainsets manufactured by Bombardier have already been delivered to different parts of France in this way.
